چکیده
Background: Day-case surgery (DCS) and laparoscopic liver (LLS) are booming. The aim of this study was to confirm the feasibility LLS as DCS evaluate its implementation. Methods: This a prospective descriptive monocentric non-randomized including all patients undergoing (minor resection (LLR), cyst fenestration, radio-frequency ablation (RFA)), between July 2015 December 2018. Exclusion criteria were technique-related criteria, patient-related patient refusal, contraindication DCS. primary endpoint success ambulatory management. The evolution frequency LLR studied. Results: 265 underwent surgery, 38 (14.3%) for (22), RFA (7), association (1), or fenestration (8). Twelve refused successful 29 (76.3%). Protocol respected 25 (65.8%). There 9 unplanned admissions (23.7%), 2 consultations (5.3%), 4 hospitalizations (10.5%). Ambulatory procedures increased initially, then decreased over time: 6.25% at beginning, maximum 41.7%, 18.2% in end. Conclusion: confirms Nevertheless, implementation is low, with high refusal rate. A short hospitalization (only overnight hospitalization) may be an alternative.

Backgrounds and Objectives: Today we are witnessed a growing number of minimally invasive surgical techniques for different diseases. Laparoscopic colon surgery as a minimally invasive surgery is currently growing in treatment of malignancies after proving his place in the treatment of benign diseases. We compare in this study results of laparoscopic colorectal surgery with open surgery. Method...
متن کاملLaparoscopic cholecystectomy as a day surgery procedure.
Outcome is presented for 40 consecutive laparoscopic cholecystectomies performed in a public teaching hospital day surgery unit. The unanticipated hospital admission rate on the day of surgery was 17.5% (seven patients) and the majority of these (12.5%; five patients) were due to surgery-related considerations. Two other admissions were due to nausea and vomiting. One patient was admitted to ho...
متن کاملLaparoscopic Liver Surgery
Recent improvements in cross sectional imaging, chemotherapy and advances in the techniques of liver resection have resulted in rates of 5 year survival approaching 60% for patients with colorectal liver metastasis. Historically liver resection was perceived as a formidable operation but now liver resection is safe and specialist centres should expect low mortality rates in the region of 1-2%1,...

METHODS Forty patients undergoing laparoscopic liver surgery between September 1997 and November 2006 were included. The data set includes: operative procedure and duration, intraope...
متن کاملDay-case stapes surgery: Day-case versus inpatient stapes surgery for otosclerosis: a randomized controlled trial
BACKGROUND Otosclerosis is characterized by bony deposits in the otic capsule, resulting in stapes fixation and progressive hearing loss. It can be treated effectively by surgically removing (part of) the stapes and replacing it with a prosthesis. Increasingly, stapes surgery is performed as a day-case procedure. The major drive towards day-case surgery has been out of economic considerations. ...
